Treating Yeast Infections
It is possible that mild symptoms could require no treatment and the body will restore balance without help. Sometimes no remedy or treatment is the best approach to this problem unless the symptoms are pronounced. There is also the Sarah Summer yeast cure to try out.
All too often though, yeast overgrowth brings with it itching, burning and general discomfort. In some instances a doctor may prescribe medication for the overgrowth or recommend an over the counter course of treatment. Most often these products are supplied as a suppository or cream for topical application, rather than orally.
Recurrent infections as in the woman who experiences a yeast overgrowth more than four times yearly may indicate other health issues. When this type of infection keeps returning it is best practice to consult a doctor if one has not been sought out already. Even if the issue is temporarily relieved by non prescription products, recurring infections may not always be resolved without seeing a physician.
